Flightplan is an intense thriller that sees a woman, Kyle Pratt, boarding a passenger plane that she helped design to escort her recently-deceased husband's body from Germany back to the United States for burial. Kyle falls asleep, only to wake up to discover that her young daughter is missing. She panics and alerts the crew, but neither the crew nor her fellow passengers can recall seeing a young girl with her, forcing them and eventually Kyle herself to question her sanity. As she becomes increasingly desperate, Kyle uses her knowledge of the aircraft to evade the air marshal and search for her daughter, eventually realizing that she is being forced into the center of a larger, sinister plot. |
