Overview
Three Vietnam War veterans reunite after 30 years for a very different kind of mission: burying a son too early. Ex-marines Sal and Mueller meet up with ex-Navy Corp medic "Doc" to bury Doc's son, who was a young Marine killed in Iraq. Instead of a typical burial at Arlington Cemetery, Doc decides to go another route and take his son and friends on a whirlwind adventure to take the casket on the long journey home. The trip becomes bittersweet as they take the long path up the East Coast, finally laying his son to rest in their suburban, New Hampshire hometown.
