Overview
Leanne Wilson wants a celebrity life and fame for herself and her family: So, she cooks up a scheme and asks two men, her ex-boyfriend Billy who still loves her and his friend Jebidiah, to kidnap her daughter Patty and then appear as heroes who saved Patty's life. As members of her local community put up flyers and search for Patty, Leanne does everything she can in front of the cameras to gain attention and sympathy. When Patty comes home though, a woman who Leanne was mean to in school, Nancy, is now a reporter who has discovered the truth.
