Overview
A woman remembers the face of love that was lost to her during a time in her life when she faced the challenges of seemingly endless war. Wren Petersen, daughter of the founder of a humanitarian organization known as Doctors of the World, uses her talents as a physician to help people throughout West Africa. After meeting Miguel Leon, a surgeon who is even more passionate about saving lives in war torn and poverty-stricken areas of the continent and other places around the world, Wren finds herself suddenly questioning everything about her life after she falls in love with him.
