Overview
A star high school athlete finds himself being recruited to the prestigious Cornell University in order to play basketball at the collegiate level. As he prepares to leave home and embark on adulthood, he discovers that his father has a serious gambling addiction. His mother tries to keep the family emotionally and financially stable, but doing so comes at a great personal sacrifice to her. The young man finds himself at odds with his girlfriend, his other friendships, academics and his passion of basketball. He will have to learn how to navigate the very adult challenges of a changing world.
