Overview
In the eighties, a Midwest family struggles to put food on the table. At one point, the father decides to take fate into his own hands by kidnapping a rich man. Keeping this man in the silo on the family's farm, he figures that they can stay afloat. However, the 11-year-old daughter is presented with a terrible choice as a result of his actions. Should she support her father by allowing him to harbor this man, or should she do the right thing and release him?
