Overview
Recently widowed Frank Goode is retired, lonely and beset by heart problems, but he's proud of his four grown children and the driven, overbearing style with which he raised them. Unfortunately for Frank, their life trajectories aren't quite the same as he had expected and each of them actually had issues with his Type-A parenting style. When they all reject his invitation to a reunion, he becomes determined to reach out to them the hard way and travels to the four cities in which his children live against his doctor's orders. Upended preconceptions and introspective moments await Frank as he tracks down each of his children and learns the truth about their lives and their feelings toward him.
