When Jubilee Dougal's parents get in trouble with the law, she's placed on a train to Florida to stay with her grandparents. The train though gets stuck on Christmas Eve while passing through a small rural, snow-covered town named Gracetown.
The town looks like a holiday card, but Jubilee isn't feeling the joy of the season. She hasn't heard from her boyfriend since the incident, and she's starting to think that he doesn't care. She's also starting to believe that she's completely alone.
Jubilee then meets a local named Stuart who tries to make her feel better about her situation.
Soon afterward, she meets other young adults like herself and starts to see how bad events can actually lead to a positive fresh start and wonderful experiences. |
