Gay couple Freddy and Mo want to have a baby with their best friend, Polly. However, the members of their Brooklyn community combine to make their lives miserable as they attempt to create an unconventional family. A local menace called "The Bishop" regularly insults Freddy, Mo and Polly and then begins to threaten them with violence. Meanwhile, more supportive neighbors harass them with nosy questions about their lifestyle. Despite the trio's collective love for each other, their family plan takes a dark and traumatic turn. |
