Overview
Abraham Lincoln will eventually be one of the most legendary presidents of the United States of America, leading the country into a Civil War that will ultimately unite it and abolish slavery. For now, though, he's a small boy of eight in rural Indiana, and his childhood is fraught with tragedy and hardships. He must work hard to rise above them, but he is not alone. His dear mother is instrumental in fostering a love of life and learning, and before too much longer, another woman will come into his life and help mold him into a truly inspiring man.
