Overview
Dr. Joe Darrow lost his pregnant wife, Emily, who traveled to South America to help people with no access to healthcare. Joe does not give himself the proper time to grieve and returns to work, where he begins receiving signs his dead wife is trying to communicate with him. He becomes convinced as dying children in a pediatric ward give him her cryptic message – a wavy cross. Joe’s journey to understand the message leads him to Venezuela where her bus had succumbed to a landslide. Joe is able to see where his wife died, discovering more than he could imagine.
