Overview
Broad City is about two women in their twenties - Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer - and the hijinks they get up to in their daily lives in New York City. Abby and Ilana are best friends, and manage to turn every outing into an awkward, slightly raunchy, but very humorous disaster. Abby and Ilana's attempts to self-improve, tendency to overthink situations, or unfortunate encounters with other denizens of New York lead to situational comedy meant to leave viewers both cringing and laughing at situations they can be all too sympathetic too as the protagonists try to avoid trouble and support each other in an oddly sweet friendship.
