Overview
Skip is a down-and-out former convict who has been released from prison and has taken a job as a janitor at a theme park in order to make ends meet. His superior, Archie, begins to tell him four separate stories about people who have gotten in over their heads. Each story is a self-contained vignette with no immediate connection to the others, but all share a similar theme. As Skip’s life heads toward a major crisis, he must come to understand the true meaning of Archie’s tales in order to decide how to respond.
