Closeted gay high school teens Brett and Tanner are struggling with being homosexual in a high school dominated by three clique queens. Faced with the popularity contest of typical high school, Brett believes coming out will make him the most popular guy in school, while Tanner simply wants to fly under the radar of Caprice, ‘Shley and Fawcett. Plans go awry when Tanner is outed instead of Brett, forcing an unwanted reversal of roles. Tanner quickly becomes the most popular and sought-after commodity in school; the Gay Best Friend, and the queens of the cliques all want him for themselves.
