Two friends in a turbulent relationship named Katie and Lauren decide to move in together to split expenses for an apartment in the coveted neighborhood near New York City's Gramercy Park. After the cover is blown about Katie working as a phone sex operator, the pair decide to work together to secure their financial futures. At the same time, Katie becomes closer and closer to one of her most frequent customers, who is named Sean. Though Katie and Lauren become good friends during their business venture, relations collapse once again after Lauren gets hired at a publishing house, upsetting Katie to the point that she discloses their phone sex operation to Lauren's parents. After getting together with Sean, Katie begins to miss Lauren, and Sean encourages Katie to call her. The two finally make up and hug afterward. |
