Overview
This clever parody of the very successful "Hunger Games" follows the challenges encountered by Kantmiss Evershot. She signs up for a competition called the Starving Games, being celebrated with a 75th anniversary event. Evershot is in danger of losing her life if she doesn't perform well, but she thinks that the prizes awarded to the winner are worth the risks, including an outdated can of ham, a coupon that can be redeemed for a 12-inch long submarine sandwich, and a half-consumed pickle.
