Overview
The "found footage" genre, typical of horror films like "Paranormal Activity" and "V/H/S," makes its way to science fiction with this cinematic telling of a manned mission to Europa, one of the moons of Juptier. The mission is recounted through a series of news reports, archival footage and video shot by the astronauts on the mission itself. The nearly two year trip is plagued by malfunctions, paranoia and an accident that sees the loss of one key crew member. The astronauts press on despite loss of communication with Earth early in the mission, determined to reach Europa and begin the search for life on the desolate moon. What they find on Europa may be more horrific than even the harrowing obstacles they faced to get there.
