Overview
Twelve-year-old Bartleby Livingstone's favorite comic book series is Kid Courageous and Captain Canine, the story of an intergalactic battle between brave Captain Megasis and the evil Commander Drex. When Bartleby's friends and their Buddies—Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Buddha and Rosebud—join a treasure hunt at Fernfield Farms to celebrate Bartleby's birthday, they uncover a set of mysterious rings that look just like the powerful "Rings of Inspiron" from the comic book. The Buddies discover that the Kid Courageous series is based on true events. Now they must work together to keep the rings safe and learn the meaning of Super Hero Rule #1: "You don't have to have super powers to be a super hero."
