Overview
The Borgen household consists of a man and his two teenagers whose lives are each wrapped up in their own literary and romantic complications. Bill is an accomplished author who lost his spark when his wife left him three years ago. Still unable to let go fully, he's inclined to occasionally stalk her. Samantha, his daughter, has managed to publish a novel in her teenage years and has learned to avoid love from the destructive relationship between her parents, but a particular young man is about to take a persistent approach with her. Rusty, his son, wants to write in a fantasy vein but hasn't quite found his inspiration. He meets a lovely, troubled girl and finds himself experiencing bittersweet realities for the first time.
