Sam used to have a flourishing career in advertising but his existence has been reduced to a hollow state since his son passed away. He lives on a sailboat in a dock and drinks endlessly in an effort to force his suffering out of his mind. Upon unexpectedly finding a box brimming with demos and lyrical sheets that are all his son's creations, he undergoes an epiphany in search of some form of catharsis. Dedicating his efforts to learning each of his son's compositions and developing the ability to perform them himself, he draws the attention of another young man with considerable musical talent of his own. The two unite their creative efforts into a successful act that reshapes their worlds. |
