Overview
Paul Kersey is an average New York architect living with his wife and daughter. While grocery shopping one day, three thugs find out their address. When the thugs break into his house and rape and beat his wife and daughter, Paul is devastated. His boss sends him on a business trip, and a business partner gives him a gun as a going away present. This begins Paul's life as a vigilante. With a dead wife and catatonic daughter, Paul has nothing to lose - and he wants revenge on the thugs who ruined his life. He begins to go to the shady parts of town to seek out wrongdoers to punish, and one has to wonder if Paul is ready for the consequences of his dangerous actions.
