Overview
A disturbed teenager escapes from a mental institution along with three other inmates. After taking a nurse hostage, the band embarks on a road trip of mayhem and murder. With a sheriff who is bent on revenge hot in pursuit of the quartet, one of the teens, already teetering on the edge of derangement, begins to slowly mentally unravel, descending into a psychotic hell which seems certain to lead to a lifetime of bloodthirsty activity. As tragedy and horror continue to inflict damage, the teen transforms into the man who will come to be known as Leatherface.
