Runaway robbers who have just gone on a heist realize that they are in deep trouble when the getaway truck that they are utilizing runs into a truck filled with explosives. This happens within the tunnels that connect New Jersey and Manhattan, thus trapping them with little or no chance to escape. The people who survive realize that they are in a part of the tunnel that is not only weakened and filling with water, but also blocked at both ends, providing a dual danger to them. Kit Latura, a man approaching the tunnel, understand the danger that is posed to those within, and starts a plan to help fix the situation. Upon entering the tunnel via maintenance walkways, he realizes that it is direr then he thought. The tunnel is slowly filling, and he does not realize if he can get everybody out before water fills the entire tunnel. |
