| Overview
After the marriage of a pilot and his wife turns bad, Rayford Steele contemplates a relationship with one of the flight attendants on a plane that he flies. Steele flies a plane to London with several passengers on board. While the plane is in the air, a number of people on the plane begin to vanish. Cars, trucks and other vehicles that are on the ground are empty when there were previously drivers in the seats. On the other side of the world from the United States, a scientist in Israel has developed what could be a breakthrough in soil cultivation. One journalist discovers this finding, and he has questions that only the scientist might be able to answer about the disappearing people. |
