Overview
Many things have changed for Coach Gordon Bombay since he led a rag-tag crew to the pee-wee hockey championship. After being invited back to the minor leagues, Bombay is forced to retire after a crippling knee injury. Soon after, he is invited to coach Team USA in the Children’s Goodwill Games, a series of playoffs that resemble the Olympics. Bombay decides to reorganize his team for the games, but soon loses focus as endorsement deals and the promise of money begins to distract the coach. His team, once known as the Mighty Ducks, must help Bombay rediscover what he first loved about the sport.
