Overview
Backwards is a romance film about a competitive rower named Abi who desperately wants to achieve her deceased father's dream for her, which is to make it to the Olympics. At 30 years of age, she still lives with her mother, sleeps with a stuffed bear, and still has not achieved her father's dream. Abi is offered an opportunity that can change her life forever, but she struggles to live a life that doesn't involve rowing and she struggles to become an independent adult.
