Overview
Eric Packer is a 28 year-old billionaire with an uncanny knack for currency speculation. He spends the entirety of a day riding across Manhattan in his state of the art stretch limousine with the aim of visiting the barbershop of his childhood. Various characters of differing importance in his life visit him in the limo. His conversations with them foreshadow the fall of his empire, and it becomes obvious that he is desperately seeking meaning in his life. Over the course of the day he goes from eccentric genius billionaire to a ruined philosopher in a life or death situation.
