Overview
Sparkle and her two sisters decide to form a girl singing group in the 1960s. The believe this will be the easiest way to become recognized and famous as there are other girl groups with similar compositions making their name alongside other famous musicians. They are soon recognized as potential money makers by a major recording label, and the girls sign on. However, life as professional recording artists is more difficult and demanding than they ever thought it could be, and the family must decide if their family is worth sacrificing for fame.
