Overview
This comedy with dramatic overtones focuses on the emotional struggles of a young female freelance writer named Margot. Margot thought she had a happy marriage to Lou, enjoying life in the Little Portugal neighborhood of Toronto. But then she meets Daniel and is immediately attracted to the artist and part-time rickshaw driver who lives just a stone's throw from Margot's house. Margot eventually leaves her husband Lou to take up with Daniel, but soon enough becomes disenchanted in her new relationship. She is confronted with the truth by Lou's sister during a drunken tirade, telling Margot there is no perfect relationship.
