Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson face off in court in the tense drama, A Few Good Men. Lt. Daniel Kaffee (Cruise) pleads his first court martial case, defending two Marines who are up on murder charges. Kaffee suspects, then proves that the victim was being illegally hazed (CODE RED) at the time of his death. With the help of Joanne Galloway (Demi Moore), Kaffee traces the source of the CODE RED order back to Colonel Nathan Jessup (Nicholson). In a masterful cross-examination, Kaffee baits Jessup until he explodes on the stand in a towering rage, uttering the immortal line: "You can't handle the truth!" Jessup is hauled away to face charges, the defendants are exonerated and Kaffee has discovered his calling as a trial lawyer.
