Lawyer Jan Schlichtmann is contacted by a group of families to take on a case that hardly seems worth his time. While investigating the case, Jan learns that a leather producer may be involved in a huge environmental issue that is responsible for giving several families deadly cases of leukemia. Jan becomes obsessed with the case and helping the families get the money they deserve. Unfortunately for Jan, the lawyers for the leather production company do not plan to go down without a fight. They soon not only threaten Jan's case but his friends. Now, Jan finds himself involved in a deadly game that may cost him everything. |
