Overview
All 12-year-old Bodi Grogan can think about is getting a dog but Bodi’s mother does not believe he is ready for such a big responsibility. When Bodi’s aunt and uncle go on vacation they leave their puppy, Marley, with Bodi for the summer. This gives Bodi the chance to show his mom he is capable of caring for a dog. When Bodi enters Marley, and two of Marley’s puppy friends, in a puppy obedience contest he comes up against a cruel puppy owner and proves himself worthy of having a dog of his own.
