Overview
Mathayus reigns over a kingdom in Egypt for many years. But when a deadly plague devastates his kingdom, Mathayus gives up his throne and returns to his former life as a mercenary. With Mathayus no longer in power, Egypt is separated and controlled by three different rulers: Horus, Talus and Ramusan. Talus, the strongest of the three, decides to claim the Book of the Dead from Ramusan to help him take control of all Egypt. He also kidnaps Slida, Ramusan's daughter. Horus, meanwhile, hires Mathayus and another warrior, Olaf, to fight for him. As a result, the duo find themselves caught up in the middle of the three-way power struggle as they join a force of Ninjas and their mysterious leader to battle Talus.
