Overview
Time travel through light-emitting tunnels called "anomalies" that pop up anywhere drive a team of scientists under governmental control to stop the creatures that slip through them. Depending on the location and time period the tunnels open up, different creatures can come through. Plus, both people and creatures from this time period can slip through and change the past. The scientists, along with specially trained military personnel, deal with prehistoric and futuristic beasts that wreak havoc in the present. They also travel to the past and future to prevent catastrophe while they try to figure out the origin of these freakish events. It is discovered that not only are there forces behind the anomalies that seem to be controlling their spawning, but there are other forces at work hoping to use them for both good and evil purposes. However, even the good intentions of some could end up causing the end of all mankind.
