Overview
The working-class family that lives at the gothic house at 1313 Mockingbird Lane doesn’t realize they’re all that different from any of their friends and neighbors. In fact, the Munsters are a family of monsters, though their good-natured personalities are in constant conflict with their ugly demeanors. Herman Munster, the kind-hearted dad of the family, frequently freaks out his neighbors with his Frankenstein like appearance. Well-meaning Lily, the mother, looks ghostly, and Grandpa is a vampire. Eddie is a spooky little kid. The only normal looking member of the family is blond cousin Marilyn, who is pretty but clueless about why everyone else thinks her family is so weird. The Munsters keep a pet monster named Spot under their stairs.
