Overview
Grease is a musical film from 1978 and is based on the 1971 musical of the same name. The story follows Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, played by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, who fall in love during the summer while Sandy is visiting from Australia. The summer eventually ends, and the two fear they will never see each other again when Sandy goes back home. Sandy's parents decide to stay in America, and she enrolls in Rydell High School. When they finally run into each other, Danny feels obligated to maintain his greaser reputation, upsetting Sandy and causing a conflict between them. In order to be together, they must figure out a way to be like each other and still stay true to themselves.
