Overview
Jack is a young man who grew up in Waco, Texas. His story unfolds from early childhood into an adulthood in which he has been sadly disillusioned by the world around him. After losing the wonder and innocence that pervading his early childhood, he's troubled by the contradicting messages he hears from his parents about the nature of the world, and he is not sure what to believe. Much of Jack's struggle comes down to his complicated relationship with his father, and the two of them must reconcile if he is going to have any measure of peace about his life and his place in the world. Jack's existential journey unfolds in a peculiar, impressionistic manner that spans the furthest reaches of time and space.
