Overview
This movie is all about the preparations for a wedding and the wedding itself. Toula (Vardalos) comes from a big Greek family that expects her to marry a Greek boy. Instead, she falls in love with a WASP named Ian (Corbett). They begin dating and decide to get married, despite the objections of Toula's traditional family. The movie focuses on all of the comical events that occur as Ian and Toula's family learn to tolerate and accept one another. Many people enjoy this movie, not only for its humor, but for its insights into Greek culture.
