Overview
In this crime thriller, Walter is a law enforcement officer living in a rural Mennonite community in Ontario. His violent past comes back to haunt him after a young woman is found dead near the local lake. When he goes to question a woman named Rita who made the emergency call about discovering the dead body, he is told a series of lies establishing an alibi for her boyfriend Steve. But Walter soon discovers that Steve and the murdered woman actually were spotted together at the same strip club just hours before her killing.
