Drake Goodman and Patty Palmer are two lovers struggling to find a home in San Francisco's crowded urban island. They find a huge home in the Pacific Heights area, but it is too large for just one couple. The mortgage itself is astronomical. As a simple solution, they fill the home with a renter on the upper floor and look for a tenant to occupy the basement. Goodman and Palmer live on the ground floor and are optimistic about the living arrangements. Carter Hayes shows up as their basement tenant. Although he waives a credit check, his fancy car and cash stack are all the owners need to see before they agree to a lease. Hayes turns into every owner's nightmare. Locking himself in his basement apartment, Goodman and Palmer must find a way to remove Hayes before he destroys the property and their relationship. |
