Cynical Jonathan and naive Sandy are college buddies. Jonathan is a womanizer who has no trouble scoring a date, while Sandy can barely talk to a woman. Jonathan helps him overcome his shyness and awkwardness and unlock the mysteries of sex, but the mystery of relationships proves to be much more complicated. The two remain friends for several decades, though their friendship is a bit of a lie, as Sandy marries the only woman that Jonathan actually cares for without realizing it. The two continue to get together behind Sandy's back, so while he thinks he is enjoying a pleasant married life, they know better and are haunted by their betrayal of someone they care about. Eventually, the ugly truth will have to come out. |
