Overview
Having endured a difficult childhood, Lars Lindstrom is an odd but likable young man and a loner ill at ease with either emotional or physical contact with others. He lives in the garage belonging to his older brother Gus and his kind sister-in-law Karin. Lars visits his family one day with Bianca, a sex doll he ordered for companionship. Worried, the family insists that Lars attend an appointment with a medical doctor and are told to play along with the fantasy until it runs its course. With the town welcoming Bianca wholeheartedly into the community and an attractive co-worker named Margo showing a very open interest in him, Lars is eventually forced into making the difficult decision of what he really wants out of life.
