Trailer | Overview Things are looking up for con man Fargo Gondorf, who is released from federal prison just as the Great Depression is lifting from the country. Committed to avenging the death of his long-time friend Kid Colors, Gondorf puts out a call to his fellow con men to help him with a big con job he wants to play on banker Doyle Lonnegan and racketeer Gus Macalinski, both of whom he blames for Kid Colors' death. With the help of his young protAegAe, Jake Hooker, Gondorf manages to swindle both Macalinski and Lonnegan out of a fortune. The two con men head for the next train out of town accompanied by the money they've conned from their victims using a very well executed boxing scam. |
