Overview
A wealthy young man could be living the lifestyles of the rich and famous in Paris, but after witnessing horrors during World War I, he decides to live in cheap hotels, eat sparingly, meditate and seek spiritual enlightenment. The young man, Larry, breaks off his engagement to a beautiful, wealthy American woman to spend most of his time alone reading, seeking silence, and gaining knowledge as he doggedly pursues his quest for the deeper meanings of all reality.
