Trailer  | Overview The Chamberlains were on a camping vacation in the Outback. Michael, Lindy and their three children; two sons and a daughter who was nine weeks old. They're enjoying a barbecue with other campers when there's a cry of the baby heard from the tents. Lindy sees something in the mouth of a dingo leaving a tent, and there's no sign of the infant. After an exhaustive search, there's no sign of the infant and an inquest finds Lindy to be truthful. After Lindy is not as publicly broken-hearted enough for gossipers, questions arise about the demise of the infant. Their religion, seventh-day adventist, isn't widely understood in the 1980s and soon, bizarre stories travel around repeated as fact. People gossip and rumors fly about infant's death being a strange rite of the religion. The Chamberlains deal with a trial, gossip and hardship over the next few years. |
