Overview
Robin Williams plays unconventional English teacher John Keating, who lands a job at Welton Academy, a 1950's-era boarding school for boys who wear ties and follow Tradition religiously. He opens their eyes to the power of poetry and teaches them reach for more out of life, ultimately leading them to follow their passions and "seize the day." Along the way they learn about life, love, theater and dreams, forging a bond with the one teacher who inspires them to triumph against all odds.
