The Beindorfs seem to be a typical suburban family. Janet and Ned have two children and have shared a happy marriage for 18 years. When they begin to have serious marriage problems, they decide that they are going to separate. Their children, Grover and his younger sister Stacy, refuse to let it be that simple for them. They are determined to keep their parents together and decide to recreate their parent's honeymoon in the basement of their home. When they realize that this is not working, the kids lock their parents in the basement and decide not to let them out until they can work out their differences. |
