Mary Beth is a marine biologist raising two daughters named Judith and Nora. Mary Beth lives next to Terry who is a single father and owner of a dog named Zeus as well as a son named Jordan. Mary Beth and her research partner are trying to save a dolphin named Roxanne. Before leaving on a trip with her research partner, Becky, Mary Beth has a run in with Zeus. He chases her cat and destroys her garden. She's extremely unhappy with Zeus, but has to leave on her trip. They board the boat and don't realize until they are out to sea that Zeus has stowed away on the boat. They can't get back to shore because they need to follow Roxanne. Zeus jumps off the boat into a swarm of sharks. Roxanne saves Zeus' life and returns him to the boat. This changes the course of her research. She wants to find out more about the relationship between the dolphin and the dog. Mary Beth's daughter's and Terry's son hatch a plan to get their parents romantically involved together while the research continues. |
