Overview
This melodrama focuses on the lives of four teenage girls living in California's San Fernando Valley in the 1970s. Each of the girls seems to have lost their way and look to sex, partying and fun as the answers to all of their problems. When one of the four girls is unexpectedly killed in a car crash, it has deep consequences on the lives of the other three friends and helps them to grow up fast. One is inspired to get married, the other stops chasing after boys and the third makes plans to make something of herself by heading off to college.
