Overview
Detective Nick Curran, a member of the San Francisco Police Department, is in charge of investigating the murder of Johnny Boz, a rock star, killed with a Hermes scarf during a sexual encounter. Boz's girlfriend, Catherine Tramell is a smart and manipulative bisexual mystery writer who becomes the primary suspect. Tension is high throughout the film, and erotic innuendo is part of the scene where detectives question the suspected Catherine. Nick begins a cat-and-mouse lust-filled game with her to prove that she is guilty. As another murder ensues, this one being of a detective rival, Nick begins to question his suspicions about the involvement of the clever Catherine.
